When we ("lgbt" people, i dont call myself that, but whatever) have institutional power to compell speech in such a way, on platforms that allow more interconnectedness/exhange of ideas than ever before, we are seperating ourselves from the proletarian soil, denegrating the average person who should be allowed traditional beliefs. It puts a target on our back that we havent had since the 80s.
So, communists SHOULD be going hard against the liberal "LGBT" agenda, at least against it having relevance among actual Communist activity. Its a part of their plan to keep "communists" focused on social issues.
The line needs to be drawn.

Titoism is a form of Leninism based on the regime of Marshal Tito post-World War II in Yugoslavia. While formerly heading a Comintern liberation movement, after the war Tito broke with Moscow and insisted Yugoslavia was to be non-aligned with neither NATO nor the Warsaw Pact. Tito called for "national unity" and "self-management" which enabled Yugoslavia to form relationships independent of the Superpowers with other governments during the Cold War.

Two different approaches were taken by these social scientists. The American historian Richard Hofstadter wrote an analysis in his influential 1964 essay The Paranoid Style in American Politics. Hofstadter sought to identify the characteristics of the groups. Hofstadter defined politically paranoid individuals as feeling persecuted, fearing conspiracy, and acting over-aggressive yet socialized. Hofstadter and other scholars in the 1950s argued that the major left-wing movement of the 1890s, the Populists, showed what Hofstadter said was "paranoid delusions of conspiracy by the Money Power".[17]

An MIT grant helped launch the company.[6] Logically first operated solely from Britain, employing 30 British residents by 2019.[7] In early 2019, the company expanded to India, recruiting 40 employees who perform most of the company's fact-checking.[7] In its 2019 seed round, Logically raised $7 million.[7] In 2020, it raised another €2.77 million,[8] including from the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund and XTX Ventures.[9] As of 2020, Logically had100 employees.[10]
In June 2020, the International Fact Checking Network certified Logically as a fact-checker. The certification was renewed in September 2021 and January 2023.[11] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logically_(company)

Man, talk about a victim complex.
“The thing that makes women, women is our collective oppression by the patriarchy”.
What happens when we finally smash the patriarchy? Then what? Are there no longer women? Or was that definition mutable from the very start, but you just didn’t want to consider it?
Like, I don’t understand this “old boys club, but women” mentality/gate keeping bullshit.
The patriarchy hurts everyone in all sorts of intersecting and unique ways. Smashing it requires smashing it for ALL. twoxchromeosomes

The problem with TERFs is that it becomes a either/or question. Either you stand for OUR definition of woman, or the PATRIARCHIES definition of woman. To a classical radical feminist the end game for feminism isn't just the demolition of the patriarchy, but the REPLACEMENT of the patriarchy with feminist ideals. The result is a creation of a new oppressor instead of the removal of oppression. Unless you can convince a classical radical feminist that THIS CORE IDEAL, is itself problematic you aren't going to get too far.

Transgender Pan-demonium
I met a TERF recently who claimed to be a "gender critical pro life feminist" she then proceeded to rant at me about the ethics of abortion and the trans problem I was lost for words and just stood there until she got board and went to complain to someone else. I am still lost as how someone can have those views and claim to be a feminist.

You cannot be TERFy or prof-life and be feminist. This is not 2000s pick me “choice feminism” where if you are woman making a decision, then that choice is feminist. I remember tons of women being like, “I’m choosing to remove all my public hair and lose tons of weight and take my husband’s name! That’s my choice! Feminism!” That’s bullshit. Individual choices are not feminism; creating the political infrastructure to allow women a plurality of choices is feminism.
Feminism has a political platform that allows for choice. The act of choosing is feminist, not the choice itself. Being “pro-life” is being anti-choice. Therefore, there’s nothing inherently feminist about being pro-choice. People who are against abortion can only be feminist if they are pro choice and then don’t choose abortion for themselves.

Not trying to make any excuses, but perhaps she realizes that some trans women do not get to have any say in regards to whether their partner wants to keep their child or not. Ones biological role in procreating (Or lack of thereof)should obviously have nothing to do with whether their identity is “valid” or not, but I do understand why trying to wrap ones head around these things might feel frustrating to some. I didn’t grow with any gender minority family or friends, so I do believe that I would have a really hard time understanding the trans community if I were cis.

[Tiger Moms] are overrated. But they're probably better than the moms who don't give a fuck and don't do anything. There's obviously a healthy medium to be had between 'Don't give no fucks' and 'Drill sergeant Tiger Mom', but it has yet to be achieved at least nationally.
So you took one poster's slight deviation from heterodoxy, and inflated it into the claim that people on this sub "simp hard for tiger mom style parenting," with out linking at all to the comment you were referring to (since seeing what people actually said would show how ridiculous your hyperbole was). As is typical of Reddit.
Users were too gullible to doubt you, and too lazy to check to see if what you were saying was at all accurate, but they upvoted without thinking. Instead of looking into whether or not your claim was true, they assumed it was and came up with a whole slew of reasons for it - the sub is "contrarian," it's "white," it's "stupid and disconnected from reality." Again, typical of Reddit.

Controversy
Employment equity is surrounded with controversy, as has occurred with similar programs in the U.S. and other countries. Opponents of employment equity argue that it violates common-sense notions of fairness and equality.[11] Economists Cristina Echavarria and Mobinul Huq propose that employment equity be redesigned so that employers are required to remove barriers to men applying for female-dominated jobs, as well as barriers to women applying for male-dominated jobs.[12]
On the other hand, proponents maintain that employment equity is necessary to amend historic wrongs and to ameliorate the economic differences among groups.[13][14] A particular point of contention has been the category visible minorities, which lumps together numerous ethnic groups, some of whom are affluent and some of whom are severely disadvantaged.[15][16][17]
Some argue that the act should have been stricter. Others have argued that employment equity should rely more on moral suasion rather than legal remedies.[18] Among those who argue for strictness, the act has been criticized as an example of "soft-law", meaning token penalties combined with an overly casual use of compliance statistics.[19] Other researchers have argued for a more conciliatory approach based on self-regulation, employee participation, and appeals to employers’ sense of self-interest.[20] Some have also contended that employment equity is in conflict with the Canadian Human Rights Act which prohibits discrimination on the basis of gender, race, ethnicity, and certain other grounds,[21] since biasing hiring practices to prefer designated groups is necessarily discriminatory against non-designated groups. However, the equality section of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms explicitly permits affirmative action type legislation, although the Charter does not require legislation that gives preferential treatment. Subsection 2 of Section 15 states that the equality provisions do "not preclude any law, program or activity that has as its object the amelioration of conditions of disadvantaged individuals or groups including those that are disadvantaged because of race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, sex, age or mental or physical disability."

In his 1973 book For Reasons of State, Chomsky argues that instead of a capitalist system in which people are "wage slaves" or an authoritarian system in which decisions are made by a centralized committee, a society could function with no paid labor. He argues that a nation's populace should be free to pursue jobs of their choosing. People will be free to do as they like, and the work they voluntarily choose will be both "rewarding in itself" and "socially useful." Society would be run under a system of peaceful anarchism, with no state or other authoritarian institutions. Work that was fundamentally distasteful to all, if any existed, would be distributed equally among everyone.[13]
eomutualists reach out for their weapons
mutualism started and mostly remained an open concern about progress: serialized changes with a certain dominant teleology. it investigated such series initially in the economic realms of property, labour and production. in his later life, Proudhon veered into sociological analyses of the church and war. whatever else could be said of mutualism, its notion of progress drives in a lane little related to the mainstream meaning the term acquired in political currency. the trends tracked by Proudhon and its meagre followers, both in America and Europe, talked about mechanization, labour organization, decentralization and, even at its most social, still focused on the miracle of modernity. progress was the progress of intelligence towards its ever-greater expansion, the mastering of technique. what took over the term in the latter half of the 19th century was anything but.
two facts, then, need immediate recognition. first, mutualism lost progress, even as it remained its most fundamental concern. more generally, mutualism has been forsaken to the fringe of the fringes of political radicalism. its leading names after Proudhon are known to a few thousand people worldwide, at most. its theory is not entirely clear even to adherents, and its significant works have most remained untranslated. wherever social progress has taken, it has left mutualism behind.
secondly, progressivism – as it’s currently understood – mostly definitely won over the world. the current crop, directly descending from 19th-century social reformers, holds offices everywhere in the most powerful high places of the world. even its supposedly most ardent opponents are still committed to one or another of its doctrines. there’s nowhere in the world where being anti-progress would pay high dividends socially, and nowhere an anti-progressive could be safe for sure (maybe in Russia, but who knows). doesn’t all this undeniable success mean they grasped progress way more firmly than any mutualist ever could?
the triumphant stance of Proudhon, therefore, needs revisiting and serious revision: progress isn’t what it used to be. a recuperation is pressing if mutualism is to remain at all relevant. our enemies have taken power, and they barely even know they are our enemies. acquiring some fangs would constitute a reaction from the left, and as such, it invites paradoxical commitments. the most pressing question, now, is what the hell went wrong?
how was progress lost for mutualism? naïvité. like classical mechanics (and possibly classical liberalism), Proudhon’s rationalism expected time to be linear, a simple progression from A to B. what the social turmoils since his age spelt, on the other hand, were waves, and maybe even whirlpools. up to the point where regressive progress could not only make sense but be entirely necessary to keep with the trend.
mutualism’s own "ultraviolet catastrophe" was the practical demonstration, beginning in the 1920s, that fascist-style command-economies could not only work but effectively mobilize multitudes. federated unions had no chance of autonomy if they were effectively integrated into a framework of state-managed negotiations. mutual contractual obligations could not withstand extensive state regulation. absent unbounded competition, prices could never be reduced to costs. but, perhaps most consequentially, localized organization was rendered impossible in the hysteria of neo-tribal identities. the black-body of all-for-the-state absorbed all possible light.
even Proudhon already demonstrated some scepticism concerning mass politics.
> "If monarchy is the hammer which crushes the People, democracy is the axe which divides it: the one and the other equally conclude in the death of liberty…"
so, in the wake of the 1848 revolution, his support for popular movements was hesitant. his proposals revolved around "economic" rather than "political" democracy, and the succession of events in the middle decades of 19th-century France led him ever deeper into a purely economic understanding of freedom – voluntary contracts and nothing else. still, even at his most economistic, Proudhon didn’t feel that popular movements could degenerate into state maximalism. and in the 19th century, there was possibly still reason for that.
Proudhon’s American heirs, the individualist anarchists of Boston, started from that economic view and – in what could be seen as a deviation from Stirner-style European individualism – imagined the economy unleashed from state grips as positively social. Their prolific and vibrant movement lasted a few decades, but just like proudhonism in Europe, was devoured by the rise of communistic strains of anarchism. at the dawn of the 20th century, Benjamin Tucker was hopeless and gloomy about the future of liberty.
the earlier half of the 20th saw the decimation of even the communistic side of anarchism, and the absorption of whatever remained into the capitalist/socialist duopoly. The revival of American individualists in the late 60s by Rothbard was made without any reference whatsoever to their mutualist side. it took the 21st century – and especially the Internet – for mutualism to reemerge.
the works of Shawn Wilbur and Kevin Carson finally thawed the ice that entrapped mutualism and drove into new directions: decentralized industrialism was once again out of the box, and maybe more than ever. Carson’s analysis of early 20th-century progressivism and the New Class it brought to power also provided a much-needed explanation for over 100 years of cryogenic suspended animation.
> "Twentieth-century politics was dominated by the ideology of the professional and managerial classes that ran the new large organizations. "Progressivism," especially—the direct ancestor of the mid-20th century model of liberalism that was ascendant from the New Deal to the Great Society—was the ideology of the New Middle Class. As Christopher Lasch put it, it was the ideology of the "intellectual caste," in a future which "belonged to the manager, the technician, the bureaucrat, the expert."
Carson’s analysis – inevitably limited (where did this centralist bug come from?) – dovetails nicely with those of a writer that claims no mutualist ancestry whatsoever, and that immediately justifies the "dark" appendage in the title here. Moldbug’s analysis of the Cathedral is eerily similar to Carson’s about the New Class – with one crucial difference: the Cathedral is not only a dominant class with a peculiar taste for technocratic dominion, but rather an expanded opinion-control networked system, amounting to a secular church based on the creed of egalitarian humanism:
> I am not a theist, so I don’t care much for theology. Paranormal beliefs are not beliefs about the real world, and cannot directly motivate real-world action. As a result, they are usually of no adaptive significance, tend to mutate frequently, and are a dangerous basis for classification.
> And when we look at the real-world beliefs of ultracalvinists, we see that ultracalvinism is anything but content-free. By my count, the ultracalvinist creed has four main points:
> First, ultracalvinists believe in the universal brotherhood of man. As an Ideal (an undefined universal) this might be called Equality. ("All men and women are born equal.") If we wanted to attach an "ism" to this, we could call it fraternalism.
> Second, ultracalvinists believe in the futility of violence. The corresponding ideal is of course Peace. ("Violence only causes more violence.") This is well-known as pacifism.
> Third, ultracalvinists believe in the fair distribution of goods. The ideal is Social Justice, which is a fine name as long as we remember that it has nothing to do with justice in the dictionary sense of the word, that is, the accurate application of the law. ("From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs.") To avoid hot-button words, we will ride on a name and call this belief Rawlsianism.
> Fourth, ultracalvinists believe in the managed society. The ideal is Community, and a community by definition is led by benevolent experts, or public servants. ("Public servants should be professional and socially responsible.") After their counterparts east of the Himalaya, we can call this belief mandarism.
…and that is where mutualism’s ultimate Achille’s heel is located: mutualism has been so far a very egalitarian humanist endeavour, much to its own demise.
egalitarian humanism ultimately begets demotism – if all humans are holy ("ends in themselves") and fundamentally, originally equal, then it follows that only unbounded franchise is justified. if the government is made by public opinion, the wheels of power have to revolve around managed minds. the rule in the name of the People is ultimately a cryptocalvinist global theocracy.
some may object: if egalitarian humanism kills mutualism, and mutualism is from the beginning complicit with it, so much worse for mutualism, right? up till now, i cannot but give a resounding yes. But things may have begun to change.
what this series will try to show – by following the main themes of mutualism – is how this profoundly pious sect of Protestantism that dominates the world is yet another misguided idealism; how it is slowly being unravelled by the forces that mutualism began (but never quite concluded) examining; and how mutualism can only secure itself by aligning with those forces – which will inevitably imply a dark turn away from humanity and substantial equality, and towards a "crowned anarchy" of synthetic beings.

anarchy is the perennial condition of the world. the idea of centralised, unified control is a pipe dream of monotheism, and has never been, nor could ever be, attained.
2. the fundamental vector of progress isn't a moral, but a technical arc, starting way before humanity came into play, and extending ahead into vast tracts of unknown unknowns.
3. what travels the path of such arc is intelligence, abstractly conceived as negentropy. all cosmic history is the history of intelligence optimization into an asymptote.
4. the motor of this movement is generalised Darwinian processes of variation and selection. it's only through this arms race dynamics that anything ever gets built and improved. biological life is just a subset of these processes.
the obstacles in this arc are all variations of "peace" - entropic stagnation. the latest human, social form of such peace offering is democracy and its conciliating, universalist ideology.
6. all such peace offerings tap into ancestral drives towards organisation. they project the emergent functioning of systems into an idealised "organic" compound, centrally managed, and then scale them up towards universality.
the task intelligence progressively builds for itself is one of engineering systems in which larger scale conflict can be sustained, thereby both eliminating the previous peace offering, as well as creating the conditions for a new one.
8. the ever larger complexity of such new decentralised systems make time tick faster. the dissipation of entropy increases with each new step, which leads ever quicker to the next.
9. the fundamental expression of this in human societies are cities. more than just human hives, cities are self-individuating intelligence systems, singularities even, becoming cosmos within themselves.
10. prediction of the future path of the intelligence arc is complicated by its inherent nonlinearity and self-reference, but the future cities charter for themselves are likely the best starting points.
11. the current best summary of the likely, imo, is the "Transcention Hypothesis" by John Smart:
accelerating.org
Transcension Hypothesis — Acceleration Studies Foundation
12. my only minor alteration would be that cities are likely to shoot themselves into space (and avoid gravity wells like the plague) before becoming black holes.
13. critique points: Anarchism has generally and widely failed to rise up to the task that anarchy - the everlasting decentralisation of the cosmos - has out forward for them.
14. it may be indeed that the human form and psyche is utterly unprepared to deal with the horror of anorganic yet systemic reality. but I think there's also more to it, since many non-anarchists got close to it.
15. one could excuse the humanism, given the time and place Anarchism rose to prominence (everyone was a humanist in the 1800s), but the fundamental failure was not *embracing* the factionism that almost instantly sprang up in the movement.
16. even now that Anarchism is way more out of fashion, the unifying tendencies still arise. "let's have *One* movement against oppression" etc. what if, instead, anarchy is actually right?
17. developing "anarchy = order" remains the central task of Anarchism, even it hasn't done much work in that direction. how can the division and disunity of the world lead to order? how could it not!
18. this is important in terms of destabilising the current peace offering as well: being many different is incompatible with being One Together.
19. and with that we're thrown into the muddy terrain of "praxis" or "what should be done".
first and foremost I'm obliged to say: do what thou wilt
20. secondly, it is important to recognise that operating under a practical reason framework (one in which plans, habits and tactics make sense) does not immediately follow from any one transcendental appreciation of reality.
21. finally, if the anarchist transcendental ontology I sketched above makes any sense, practical reason is only going to be good very locally, and even then it's important to remember that "you" are not in the driver's seat.
22. what that means is basically "antipraxis", i.e., whatever you are doing right now is not serving only (or even at all) your purposes, but is necessarily embedded into processes that far exceed your conscious capacity of apprehension.
23. the best way to subjectively deal with that is, by and large, the u/acc motto: let go. it turns out to be very enjoyable.
24. thus, contrary to most criticism, antipraxis is not about defeatist "I can't do anything" but rather an affirmative "I can do anything I want", which immediately leads to the interesting question of desire dynamics
25. desire dynamics (what I sometimes think of as "mutual excitation") is something that deserves further study, especially from the angles of thermodynamics, economics and sociology.
26. slightly parallel to the previous line of thought, but definitely stemming from the same anarchist transcendental ontology, is the question of an economic analysis of force. an endeavour hardly undergone by anarchists (or, for that matter, anyone else)
27. the closest I have found to anything like that is David Friedman's "A Positive Account of Property Rights"
http://daviddfriedman.com/Academic/Property/Property.html…
where the costs and benefits of protecting things are weighted.
28. any anarchism that fails to take that into consideration, and proceeds to merely affirming moral creeds against current status quo, is lacking in both breadth and depth. the question remains: if states are so abhorrent and absurd, why do they keep existing?
29. my current working answer, derived from the first tweets: statism is the box intelligence found itself in when it finally got out of feudalism.·
30. leading to the modern state apparatus was an abrupt change in military technology, which implied new calculations of costs and benefits for the use of force. the rise of the rifleman meant that faceless bureaucracies directing standing armies and police forces made sense.
31. economic sense, much before any moral sense could be derived through many series of validation propaganda. I'm always starving to read economic analysis of this change, which amounted to modernity in statecraft

below is a reddit mutualism thread about the creator of Dark Mutualism and about Dark mutualism
Cyborg_nomade (creator of Dark Mutualism) is not an anti-egalitarian in the sense that mutualists understand and critique, and explicitly considers equality to be a core component of both the left and mutualism. His anti-egalitarianism is really just akin to Tucker’s hostility towards communism. So there’s that.

Cyborg_nomade predictably holds much of « leftist academia » in disdain, so I wouldn't expect him to be very aware of these kinds of things in the first place.
cyborg_nomade's orthodox marxism is directly inherited from landian accelerationism. This transition from Proudhon and Carson to classic Marx certainly has yet to be properly articulated. I know that Edmund Berger is itching to write a book rehabilitating Marx's critique of Proudhon from, well, rehabilitations like that of Iain Mckay which he only finds half-convincing. This should clarify quite a few things about the accelerationism/anarchism relationship, I hope.
“Needless to say, my own personal conviction is that what cyborg_nomade is working on does add to, as you say, « the general understanding of Proudhon’s work », and therefore represents a worthy and essential contribution to the mutualist canon. Otherwise, I wouldn’t give it much attention, as I already don’t give much attention to most of what is produced under the anarchist banner. But I certainly don’t expect to convince you of that, and I understand that you have more important things to do right now than being overly-charitable towards obscure internet pet projects that claim to thrive on your own turf, if only halfway.” reddit mutualism pist from left anarchist
Cyborg_nomade is hardly a reactionary in the traditional sense of the term, which should be quite obvious to anyone who is even somewhat familiar with his writings. He is also not an anti-egalitarian in the sense that mutualists understand and critique, and explicitly considers equality to be a core component of both the left and mutualism. His anti-egalitarianism is really just akin to Tucker’s hostility towards communism. So there’s that.
Cyborg_nomade is engaged in all kinds of both rhetorical and argumentative games that, again, I have real interest towards, but whose meaning is obscure to anyone just stumbling into his blog. Which is why I openly advised against bothering with it! I’m charitable towards him because I know him personally, and because I have a pretty clear idea of what he is trying to accomplish and of where he is trying to go. But, again, I’m conscious that to the average anarchist, already suspicious—for obvious reasons—of novel internet labels that take advantage of anarchism’ (in)famous reputation to draw fascist cultists, this mostly just sounds like yet-another-case of barely disguised far-right entrism (« great, as if national-anarchism wasn’t enough of a fiasco... »).
This is what I mean by « not-very-intelligible ». I don’t mean it as a covert compliment (or as an insult, for that matter), merely as a factual description. (For context’s sake, I should precise that by « discussions », I don’t just mean neoreaction, but also the accelerationist blogosphere, as well as the market anarchist blogosphere. Indeed, cyborg_nomade’s left-accelerationism is just as important for his project as neoreaction, if not more.)
All of that taken into account, I’m not surprised at all by your and Carson’s hostile reaction (pun unintended). To be perfectly blunt, this is why I didn’t post it on this sub when it came out, as I knew it wouldn’t lead anywhere and would just provoke unnecessary drama (well, drama at the very modest scale of r/mutualism...). Should cyborg_nomade actually complete his project one day, then I would feel justified in discussing it with people who are not already familiar with it. It could then be judged on its own as a complete, synthetic, autonomous work. But for now, it’s just context-heavy, theory-ladden cliff-notes. That’s why I didn’t bother. And I agree very much with you that there’s already tons for mutualists to retrieve in their own tradition before accelerationism or neoreaction finds itself thrown into it.
Well, it’s very much a work-in-progress, and I don’t want to speak for cyborg_nomade here, but, for one, I think we both share a certain fascination for the reactionary tradition, and especially for neoreaction, because of the way it unconsciously mirrors a lot of traditional anarchist (and more broadly socialist) analysis while taking completely opposite directions in terms of concrete normative political predictions. It’s a phenomenon that I find especially illuminating with Yarvin—who, after all, originally comes from the Austrian School, and therefore predictably shares quite a few of his references with someone like Carson (hence the New Class/Cathedral parallel).
More specifically, Moldbug, being an ex-rothbardian, empathetically agrees with common anarchist and communist critiques of propertarianism. He agrees that all attempts to justify property through absolutist provisos pathetically fail by their own standards, and end up biting their own tail. This is why he grew dissatisfied with libertarianism, and turned to reaction in the first place.
Where he actually diverges from anarchists is that he believes, in an old-fashioned hobbesian way, that anarchy is chaos and violence, and that therefore even the most arbitrary of archist authoritarianism is preferable to anarchy. So he agrees with the description, but goes opposite way with the solution. I find this path, from Proudhon to Hoppe back to Proudhon again deeply ironic, especially as Moldbug himself never truly realizes that he’s basically just retrading Proudhon’s critique.
For more concrete exemples, as Edmund Berger has pointed out a while ago, Moldbug’s neocameralism resembles a lot John Francis Bray’s joint-stock socialism: https://www.google.fr/amp/s/disubunit22.wordpress.com/2018/09/13/john-francis-bray/amp/.
Likewise, Moldbug’s patchwork obviously descends from panarchism, as it is more or less right-wing panarchism. It has helped revive a lot of discussion around the topic despite panarchism being out of date for a very long time, even if most people picking it up went pretty far away from Moldbug, and developed it in their own unique direction.
Now, these ancestral socialists and anarchists weren’t, well, capitalists the way Moldbug is, and these accusations are somewhat tongue-in-cheek, but there is something going for it. It’s been something of an inside joke in the milieu for a while that Moldbug was actually a crypto-communist all along, and that neoreactionaires never got the joke. As cyborg_nomade himself formulates it, « neoreaction is retroprogressivism from the other side ».
Of course, I am not claiming that Moldbug is a mutualist, an anarchist, or even just a leftist: he quite openly is not. But I nonetheless find these messy connections interesting to explore, and they have became all-the-easier to explore because of the work of people like Wilbur and Carson who have made a lot of forgotten socialist and anarchist literature from the nineteenth century publicly accessible—even beyond just the mutualist corpus—which I am really grateful for.
So far as I can play « dark mutualism »´s lawyer pro bono for a bit, this is part of its impetus.
As for the appropriation issue, as I said before, I personally think that cyborg_nomade is pretty honest about both paying his dues towards Wilbur and Carson for their (indeed) necessary and fantastic work, and going his own heretical way. But again, I can understand why it would ruffle a few feathers. All-in-all, the revival of the mutualist label is still a very recent one, and as such, it’s obviously going to be heavily contested by various parties, for better or worse.
I’m sympathetic towards Wilbur’s familiar accusation that we are being way too hasty in pushing « classical » authors to the side while we have barely started to dig properly into the mutualist canon, let alone the broader anarchist canon. At any rate, it’s not a recent issue. Most market anarchists gave up on Proudhon and Tucker a long time ago for the sake of retreading Hayek and Mises. I do think there’s a lot more for anarchists to gain from Proudhon than from Hayek (or even Moldbug), but it is what it is, unfortunately.
For what it’s worth, I know that cyborg_nomade has long been interested in translating mutualist literature, and that he’s just been too busy to really get it on. I can personally attest to the quality of his translation work, so I hope this, too, will materialize in due time

I read his formalist manifesto and parts of the blog on patchwork, but the one about the brown scare and how America was actually communist was so pretentious and bad that it sort of killed any further interest I had in exploring this stuff. At any rate, weren't you the one who said that if someone studied the reactionary tradition, there wouldn't be anything left to get "redpilled" by Moldbug about?
I can sort of see the fascination in seeing how different lines of thought can unconsciously "mirror" each other, but at the end of the day, there's so much unexplored about Proudhon and co, with (in my opinion) much more relevant and synergistic connections waiting to be drawn. As far as lesser known theorisation of these sorts of politics goes, I think Eugene Holland's Nomad Citizenship should be of far more interest to mutualists than accelerationism.
At any rate, it’s not a recent issue. Most market anarchists gave up on Proudhon and Tucker a long time ago for the sake of retreading Hayek and Mises
e do you think cyborg_nomade conflates mutualism with market anarchism? He certainly is more of a tuckerian-austrian than a proudhonian insofar as he tends to favorise market arrangements, but he doesn’t preclude non-market arrangements, either. Just like Carson, he is very much fine with letting people do their own thing.
As for Proudhon’s progressivism, cyborg_nomade’s contention is that it rests on a theory of time that he finds insufficiently kantian. He doesn’t deny Proudhon’s anti-absolutism at all, he just affirms that Proudhon didn’t conceptualize it well-enough—on this specific point, he is admittedly closer to Marx than to Proudhon.

He doesn’t deny Proudhon’s anti-absolutism at all, he just affirms that Proudhon didn’t conceptualize it well-enough...
And this is one of those places where we would need the missing footnotes, but what my own experience suggests is that this kind of claim almost always comes back to bite us in the ass, simply because of the enormous labor necessary to even get a clear sense of the shape of Proudhon's project. If Edward Castleton—possibly the most careful Proudhon scholar we have ever seen—said something similar, I would still want to see the footnotes
Where do you think cyborg_nomade conflates mutualism with market anarchism?
Considering that his version of mutualism (or LRx) considers market economy as a tenant, I'd say that he most certainly does. Like ancaps, he's more interested in people doing their own thing without stepping on the rights and privileges he favors (in this case market anarchism)
As for Proudhon’s progressivism, cyborg_nomade’s contention is that it rests on a theory of time that he finds insufficiently kantian.
Ok, and? It doesn't rely on a theory of time at all, it simply states that change is the only constant in all social and natural development and interaction. In short, it's effectively "change of change's sake".
He doesn’t deny Proudhon’s anti-absolutism at all, he just affirms that Proudhon didn’t conceptualize it well-enough
Firstly, Proudhon's theory of progress is only tangibly related to his anti-absolutism. It is what he opposes and what he distinguishes his theory from hierarchy but it is not so similar that you can use it in the way you are now. Secondly, do you have any evidence that Proudhon didn't conceptualize it well enough? I don't see anything about it that's not clear.
out to merge the insights of NRx with those of traditional, proudhonian anarchism.
t's a neoreactionary line of thought which holds that anarchism ran into an impasse due to its embrace of communism, and that the way out lies in reading Proudhon through Moldbug. As far as I know, this is the extent of it: https://antinomiaimediata.wordpress.com/2020/02/05/dark-mutualism-part-1/
There's some other stupidity like trying to draw parallels between Carson's analysis of the "new class" and Moldbug's "Cathedral". I've spoken to Shawn and Kevin about this and they've both disavowed the stuff completely.
just came across the term “dark mutualism” and I looked it up and I’m not sure what exactly it’s about? From what I can tell, it seems to be some sort of mutualist critique of egalitarian humanism. Does anybody here know anything else about this?
Basically, his thesis is that anarchism hit an impasse about a century ago because it got caught up in universalist—to be blunt, communist—politics, and that Proudhon, read through Moldbug, gives us the tools required to both understand this impasse and get out of it.
As to this day, it’s very much a work-in-progress, but it’s also, as far as I am concerned, by far the most interesting research program to come out of NRx in years (as an anarchist myself, I may be biased).
You can find the first (and so far only) piece—as well as the rest of his blog—here: https://antinomiaimediata.wordpress.com/2020/02/05/dark-mutualism-part-1
Dark Mutualism is the combination Dark Enlightment and Mutualism and a neoreactionary line of thought that's thinks anarchism is stalled due to it's embrace of communism and progressivism
There are always a certain number of esoteric right-wing types who gravitate to mutualism, taking advantage of the fact that the details are not widely known to try to weave bits of Proudhon into some alien narrative. And because so much of the thought on the fringes of the right is explicitly "syncretic," the fact that serious work with Proudhon's thought requires substantial time, language skills, etc. isn't much of an obstacle to the attempted appropriations. muualsm reddit

In those alternate realities personally I would apathetically support the rights of same sex couples to marry for these reasons in those alternate realities
In those alternate realities , I would temporarily oscillate every once in a blue moon personally to only support traditional marriage (but in those alternate realities temporarily every once in a blue moon when I personally would only support traditional marriages being legal, personally I would support legalizing Bromances and Womances for same sex friends).
However , in those alternate realities, I would always oscillate back to apathetically support the rights of same sex couples to marry for these reasons each time
In those alternate realities , legality wise I would be fourth political position lean aloof on same sex marriage being legal
If I was in those alternate realities , I would encourage gays to at least try to be straight (or if they won’t to at least have a last second confession of being gay right before they die just in case, paschal’s eager etc)
This is because since there would be more opposite biological sexes for them to chooses from and having more biological sexes on Earth would be proof from nature that being gay really not ideal and that nearly all gay people from Earth would become either bisexual ,trisexual, or quadsexual (due to having more biological sexes to choose from instead of just male/female)

With the outbreak of World War I, Sergio Panunzio noted the national solidarity within France and Germany that suddenly arose in response to the war and claimed that should Italy enter the war, the Italian nation would become united and would emerge from the war as a new nation in a "Fascio nazionale" (national union) that would be led by an aristocracy of warrior-producers that would unite Italians of all classes, factions, and regions into a disciplined socialism.
In November 1918, Mussolini defined national syndicalism as a doctrine that would unite economic classes into a program of national development and growth.
and some on the left pursue aspects of collectivism, syndicalism, ecology, and authoritarianism that intersect with fascist enterprises.
individual liberty
was heavily influenced by philosopher G.W.F. Hegel. After Stirner’s death in 1856, the popularity of collectivism and neo-Kantianism obscured his individualist philosophy until Friedrich Nietzsche raised its
A hugely popular figure among these tendencies of individualism and “conservative revolution,” the Italian aesthete Gabrielle D’Annunzio summoned 2,600 soldiers in a daring 1919 attack on the port city of Fiume to reclaim it for Italy after World War I. During their exploit, the occupying force hoisted the black flag emblazoned by skull and crossbones and sang songs of national unity. Italy disavowed the imperial occupation, leaving the City-State in the hands of its romantic nationalist leadership. A constitution, drawn up by national syndicalist, Alceste De Ambris, provided the basis for national solidarity around a corporative economy mediated through collaborating syndicates. D’Annunzio was prophetic and eschatological, presenting poetry during convocations from the balcony. He was masculine. He was Imperial and majestic, yet radical and rooted in fraternal affection. He called forth sacrifice and love of the nation.
When he returned to Italy after the military uprooted his enclave in Fiume, ultranationalists, Futurists, artists, and intellectuals greeted D’Annunzio as a leader of the growing Fascist movement. The aesthetic ceremonies and radical violence contributed to a sacralization of politics invoked by the spirit of Fascism. Though Mussolini likely saw himself as a competitor to D’Annunzio for the role of supreme leader, he could not deny the style and mood, the high aesthetic appeal that reached so many through the Fiume misadventure. Fascism, Mussolini insisted, was an anti-party, a movement. The Fascist Blackshirts, or squadristi, adopted D’Annunzio’s flare, the black uniforms, the skull and crossbones, the dagger at the hip, the “devil may care” attitude expressed by the anthem, “Me ne frego” or “I don’t give a damn.” Some of those who participated in the Fiume exploit abandoned D’Annunzio as he joined the Fascist movement, drifting to the Arditi del Popolo to fight the Fascist menace. Others would join the ranks of the Blackshirts.
Originally a man of the left, Mussolini had no difficulty joining the symbolism of revolution with ultranationalist rebirth. “Down with the state in all its species and incarnations,” he declared in a 1920 speech. “The state of yesterday, of today, of tomorrow. The bourgeois state and the socialist. For those of us, the doomed (morituri) of individualism, through the darkness of the present and the gloom of tomorrow, all that remains is the by-now-absurd, but ever consoling, religion of anarchy!” In another statement, he asked, “why should Stirner not have a comeback?”
Mussolini’s concept of anarchism was critical, because he saw anarchism as prefiguring fascism. “If anarchist authors have discovered the importance of the mythical from an opposition to authority and unity,” declared Nazi jurist, Carl Schmitt, drawing on Mussolini’s concept of myth, “then they have also cooperated in establishing the foundation of another authority, however unwillingly, an authority based on the new feeling for order, discipline, and hierarchy.” The dialectics of fascism here are two-fold: only the anarchist destruction of the modern world in every milieu would open the potential for Fascism, but the mythic stateless society of anarchism, for Mussolini, could only emerge, paradoxically, from a self-disciplining state of total order.
Antifascist anarchist individualists and nihilists like Renzo Novatore represented for Mussolini a kind of “passive nihilism,” which Nietzsche understood as the decadence and weakness of modernity. The veterans that would fight for Mussolini rejected the suppression of individualism under the Bolsheviks and favored “an anti-party of fighters,” according to historian Emilio Gentile. Fascism would exploit the rampant misogyny of men like Novatore while turning the “passive nihilism” of their vision of total collapse toward “active nihilism” through a rebirth of the New Age at the hands of the New Man.
irrationalism, and elitism. In 1934, Bataille declared his hope to usher in “room for great fascist societies,” which he believed inhabited the world of “higher forms” and “makes an appeal to sentiments traditionally defined as exalted and noble.” Bataille’s admiration for Stirner did not prevent him from developing what he described decades later as a “paradoxical fascist tendency.” Other libertarian celebrities like Louis-Ferdinand Céline and Maurice Blanchot also embraced fascist themes—particularly virulent anti-Semitism
Like Blanchot, the Nazi-supporting Expressionist poet Gottfried Benn called on an anti-humanist language of suffering and nihilism that looked inward, finding only animal impulses and irrational drives. Existentialist philosopher and Nazi Party member, Martin Heidegger, played on Nietzschean themes of nihilism and aesthetics in his phenomenology, placing angst at the core of modern life and seeking existential release through a destructive process that he saw as implicit in the production of an authentic work of art. Literary figure Ernst Jünger, who cheered on Hitler’s rise, summoned the force of “active nihilism,” seeking the collapse of the civilization through a “magic zero” that would bring about a New Age of ultra-individualist actors that he later called “Anarchs.” The influence of Stirner was as present in Jünger as it was in Mussolini’s early fascist years, and carried over to other members of the fascist movement like Carl Schmitt and Julius Evola.
Evola was perhaps the most important of those seeking the collapse of civilization and the New Age’s spiritual awakening of the “universal individual,” sacrificial dedication, and male supremacy. A dedicated fascist and individualist, Evola devoted himself to the purity of sacred violence, racism, anti-Semitism, and the occult. Asserting a doctrine of the “political soldier,” Evola regarded violence as necessary in establishing a kind of natural hierarchy that promoted the supreme individual over the multitudes. Occult practice distilled into an overall aristocracy of the spirit, Evola believed, which could only find expression through sacrifice and a Samurai-like code of honor. Evola shared these ideals of conquest, elitism, sacrificial pleasure with the SS, who invited the Italian esotericist to Vienna to indulge his thirst for knowledge. Following World War II, Evola’s spiritual fascism found parallels in the writings of Savitri Devi, a French esotericist of Greek descent who developed an anti-humanist practice of Nazi nature worship not unlike today’s Deep Ecology. In her rejection of human rights, Devi insisted that the world manifests a totality of interlocking life forces, none of which enjoys a particular moral prerogative over the other.
attracted numerous anti-capitalists and individualists, largely through elitism, the aestheticization of politics, and the nihilist’s desire for the destruction of the modern world. original “national syndicalist” ideas mixed with the elitism of the “New Man” and the destruction of civilization. Fascists demanded “national liberation” for European ethnicities against NATO and multicultural liberalism, while the occultism of Evola and Devi began to fuse with Satanism to form new fascist hybrids. With ecology and anti-authoritarianism, such sacralization of political opposition through the occult would prove among the most intriguing conduits for fascist insinuation into subcultures after the war.
In the ’60s, left-communist groups like Socialisme ou Barbarie, Pouvoir ouvrier, and the Situationists gathered at places like bookstore-cum-publishing house, La Vielle Taupe (The Old Mole), critiquing everyday life in industrial civilization through art and transformative practices. According to Gilles Dauvé, one of the participants in this movement, “the small milieu round the bookshop La Vieille Taupe” developed the idea of “communisation,” or the revolutionary transformation of all social relations. This new movement of “ultra-leftists” helped inspire the aesthetics of a young, intellectual rebellion that culminated in a large uprising of students and workers in Paris during May 1968.
https://theanarchistlibrary.org/library/jan-d-matthews-an-introduction-to-the-situationists While fascists entered the green movement and exploited openings in left anti-authoritarian thought, Situationism began to transform. In the early 1970s, post-Situationism emerged through US collectives that combined Stirnerist egoism with collectivist thought. In 1974, the For Ourselves group published The Right to Be Greedy, inveighing against altruism while linking egoist greed to the synthesis of social identity and welfare—in short, to surplus. The text was reprinted in 1983 by libertarian group, Loompanics Unlimited, with a preface from a little-known writer named Bob Black.
While post-Situationism turned toward individualism, a La Vieille Taupe went from controversial views rejecting the necessity of specialized antifascism to as a lie necessary to maintain the capitalist order. In they gained a controversial defense from left-wing professor, Noam Chomsky. the ultra-leftist rejection of specialized antifascism has remained somewhat popular—particularly as expounded by Dauvé, who insisted in the early 1980s that “fascism as a specific movement has disappeared.”
The idea that fascism had become a historical artifact only helped the creep of fascism to persist undetected, which called for a return to “primitive” livelihoods and the destruction of modern civilization. In

It is more important today than ever before to recognize how radical movements develop intersections with fascists if we are to discover how to expose creeping fascism and develop stronger, more direct networks. Anarchists must abandon the equivocations that invite the fascist creep and reclaim anarchy as the integral struggle for freedom and equality. Sectarian polemics are the result of extensive learning processes, but are less important than engaging in solidarity to struggle against fascism in all its forms and various disguises.
It is insane and that Radical Democrats (Ultra Center Leftists and Hard Left Centrists) falsely insist that anyone on their side who has opinions that diverge from their hive mind, groupthink views must be a grifter or far right.
The Radical Democrats (Ultra Center Leftists and Hard Left Centrists) smear them with these fake labels to delegitimize them since the Radical Democrats (Ultra Center Leftists and Hard Left Centrists) are afraid at least in their mind of being exposed for the authoritarian, social corporatist fascists that they are. It is insane the Republicans and Conservatives take this so personally and are shocked by it
If Radical Democrats (Ultra Center Leftists and Hard Left Centrists) keep smearing people on their side who disagree with them as grifters ,DINOs, tankies or right wingers, it’s a given that the Democrat Party and its ilk will be very negatively effected from from within, since no one wants to be part of a Radical Democrats (Ultra Center Leftists and Hard Left Centrists) echo chamber hive mind.
Basically a Radical Democrat (Ultra Center Leftists and Hard Left Centrists) echo chamber hive mind where Radical Democrats (Ultra Center Leftists and Hard Left Centrists) have to parrot every Radical Democrat (Ultra Center Leftists and Hard Left Centrists) talking point or be smeared as a grifter or right winger by hard left BETAs who live in a bubble and are too chicken shit to defend their enlightened talking points. I can’t stand to see the Democrats sink to those depths
I echo this article https://reason.com/2022/02/08/joe-rogan-and-the-weird-new-definition-of-right-winger/https://nypost.com/2022/05/22/the-left-targets-people-like-elon-musk-for-not-conforming/ https://www.quora.com/Why-do-so-many-on-the-left-dislike-Sam-Harris
Sam Harris, Russell Brand ,Tulsi Gabbard, Sam Seder, Jimmy Dore, Joe Rogan, Bill Maher, BGJ, Krystal Ball, Kyle Kulinski, Vaush, Bret Weinstein are NOT right wing (they aren’t even center right) and are NOT grifters and only bitter, zealous people who take politics way too seriously and live in their partisan online safe space echo chambers would disagree with me.
Over 80 percent of Americans are further to the right of Krystal Ball, Sam Seder, Kyle Kusinski, Jimmy Dore, Vaush, BGJ, Russell Brand, Bill Maher on social and economic issues
Over 90 percent of Americans and Canadians would say that Krystal Ball, Kyle Kulinski, Jimmy Dore, BGJ, Vaush, Russell Brand are NOT right wing or even center right.
If they’re grifters, we are all grifters
Maybe instead of Radical Democrats (Ultra Center Leftists and Hard Left Centrists) demonizing their fellow Democrats, liberals and progressives who don’t pass their petty purity tests, they should instead go after the people in their own party for pushing people making those ‘grifters’ go ‘right’ on those issues
I echo what Tim Dillion said on this matter. No more splitting the Center left/Left Center.
The left and the right sharing opinions and agreeing with each other on some things isn’t some magical new phenomenon. People are allowed to have different opinions on political issues. The Democrats, and liberals and progressives instead of debating them , smear them, trash them and that is wrong, problematic and against the values that our country was founded on
Radical Democrats (Ultra Center Leftists and Hard Left Centrists) are wrong for saying any view to the left or right they don’t agree with is extremist or bigoted.
People can have different viewpoints as is the case of any healthy society, stifling free speech and non Radical Democrat (Ultra Center Left and Hard Left Center) viewpoints is Anti Democratic, unhealthy and goes against what our country was founded on.
If these Radical Democrats (Ultra Center Leftists and Hard Left Centrists) were around in the 1960s they would have demonized and tried to silence the movement progressives and liberals. If they were around in the mid 19th century they would have went after the Republicans
The horseshoe theory is fake. But according to selective Democrat logic, it is ok for Democrats to work with NeverTrumpers to attack right wing things (not that there is anything wrong with that) but it is not ok for the left to work with the right to critique certain liberal or progressive things? ,
Maybe Radical Democrats (Ultra Center Leftists and Hard Left Centrists) think that people on their side agreeing with , in their minds might challenge some of their views and that’s why they smear them.
Maybe if the Republicans and Right Wing weren’t so hardcore, different minded and ‘ignorant’ (ignorant in the minds of the Radical Democrats [Ultra Center Leftists and Hard Left Centrists]) the Radical Democrats (Ultra Center Leftists and Hard Left Centrists) wouldn’t demonize people on their side as grifters for talking with or occasionally agreeing with Republicans and Right Wingers on some issues
I am angry that Hard Right Wingers smear obvious Republicans/Right Wingers like Sarah Palin, Madison Cawthorn, Karl Rove, Murray Rothbard, Dave Rubin, Richard Nixon, Theodore Roosevelt, David Cameron, Frederick Hayek, Boris Johnson, Marine Le Pen, Andrew Sullivan, Chris Christie, Sargan of Akkad, Mike Pence, Ann Coulter, Mehmet Oz, Gregg Abbott, William Buckley, Marco Rubio, etc. as RINOs/RWINOs, assistant Democrats/assistant leftists, Leftists .. and even ‘Socialists’ (well only braindead stubborn Right Wingers think any of the above greedy rich Capitalist pigs are Socialists but still) .
There is no pleasing Hard Right Wingers and their small minded views, they will rip into and throw the RINO, Communist sympathizer etc term at anyone who isn’t up to date on their inside baseball, counterproductive, ignorant and circular Right wing MAGA platform
Hard Right Wingers, Alt Right, Radical Liberals and Revolutionary Progressives today are an angry opposition that are no longer capable of participating constructively in political debate with relatively level headed opposition
In terms of views, Hard Right Wingers, Alt Right Radical Liberals and Revolutionary Progressives today are so unmoored from the reality of other views that they take on the paranoid style. I am sure most of them are capable of being reasonable
How can we level headed people see everything that we see and Hard Right Wingers, Neocons, Neoliberals, Imperialists, Ultra Center Leftists and Hard Left Centrists see the exact opposite?
It's like no matter how much truth and facts you point out, they will call you names, use dishonest tactics ,emotionally charged attacks while spewing misleading info like robots (not that we level headed people don't but we do so much less). They own everything, control everything. They always have counters to everything.
Neoliberals, Ultra Center Left and Hard Left Centrists, Hard Right Wingers, Imperialists and Neocons (like Lindsey Graham, Mitt Romney, Larry Hogan, Adam Kinzinger) truly exist to torment us (to appease our torment fetishes) and they cannot even do it in a way that is fun and uplifting which would make it more bearable. At least we are genuine in our causes even if we are an unsavory bunch at times
Democrats-Liberals don't embrace Republican-Conservative views because they feel Republican-Conservatives aren't on the same team so their views are bad due to them being associated with Republicans-Conservatives.
I have a love hate relationship with MSM .There are more than broken clock moments with the MSM but not enough. This is why I am glad our country has relative freedom of press.
Conservatives rightfully go on about 'liberal bias' in the media, tech etc but until they put as much effort as liberals into creating their own bias in the media ,they should not complain as much
If Neoliberals, Ultra Center Left and Hard Left Centrists in power admit to me there are biases as I write below, I will make my peace with it and never mention or complain about bias again.
All I want is for them to be honest with me about it, I am fine with Neoliberal, Ultra Center Left and Hard Left Centrists biases in the areas I write below, just like I am fine with a 49ers bias at 49ers home games or a Coca Cola bias at Coca Cola HQ.
These takeovers of our corporations (which have caused our anti personal liberty political climate to grow and expand) has caused the degeneration of our Spiritual (Deist, JudeaoChristian, Muslim, Mormon) values
We need to fight against Corporatism to stop these hardline Corporations from taking over our country and world with their monopolies and their Radical Conservatives (Radcons), Toxic Liberal, Politics Inc people and cultural marxist corporatist influence. Robert Reich has some good ideas to fight Corporatism.
Corporations are starting to run our country, they are now influencing state laws, donating heavily to politics etc.
Corporations need to be forced to go far left, or back to being neutral/Center Center Left.(I’d even settle for right wing)
We need to boycott these social fascist corporatist corporations and if they don't budge we need to shut these corporations down forever and destroy their products. We should also gently counter this cultural Marxist corporatism by either creating autonomous tech or trying to end their monopolies (ie breaking up big tech etc).
We have to make them pay for their corporatism. Some corporations we need to boycott include Chick fil a, Ben & Jerry's, Uber, Winn Dixie, Lyft, NASCAR, Apple etc. If any rational person interested in politics uses those toxic services or products they are a traitor and are kicked out of our coalition forever. Corporations should not exist as Corporations are Hierarchy and I am Anti Hierarchy
There is an obvious Social Corporatist , Neoliberal, Neocon, Imperialist, Ultra Center Left and Hard Left Centrist media bias in the media and that is a fact.
Most reporters and editors are Social Corporatist , Neoliberal, Neocon, Imperialist, Ultra Center Left or Hard Left Centrist
Only Social Corporatist , Neoliberal, Neocon, Imperialist, Ultra Center Left and Hard Left Centrist fanboys would deny that fact (I would deny it too if I was in their shoes).
I believe that the Hunter Biden laptop story is true and that there was a coverup with it on SMA, IN THE MSM etc. Shame shame shame shame on all who were in on that coverup.
From Mark Twain who had a prophetic vision about today's MSM 'If you don't read the newspaper (or news sites), you're uninformed. If you read the (Social Corporatist , Neoliberal, Neocon, Imperialist, Ultra Center Left and Hard Left Centrist ) newspaper (or news site), you're mis-informed'
In fact I am tempted to say that in the last 10 years, the US might have something in the ballpark of a state run media where the Social Corporatist , Neoliberal, Neocon, Imperialist, Ultra Center Left and Hard Left Centrist control the news and narrative similar to how China-CCP and Russia control their news and narrative. But I won’t say that
Liberal bias: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia_talk%3AReliable_sources%2FPerennial_sources&diff=prev&oldid=1058700530

https://thehill.com/opinion/campaign/565489-chuck-todd-liberal-bias-doesnt-exist-in-media-it-absolutely-does
You know there was a Time corporate media was not allowed. Do you know who signed into law that corporations could own media companies? In the sixties almost 400 people collectively was responsible for all of the news you read heard on the radio or watch them TV. Today it's four or five corporations control the news and social media is controlled I believe 3 people. Who made this possible? Social Corporatists , Neoliberals, Neocons, Imperialists, Ultra Center Leftists and Hard Left Centrists. Ny hat is off to them for pulling it off
We need to politely fight against Social Corporatists , Neoliberals, Neocons, Imperialists, Ultra Center Leftists and Hard Left Centrists from taking over our country and world with their monopolies and Social Corporatist , Neoliberal, Neocon, Imperialist, Ultra Center Left and Hard Left Centrist influence. Robert Reich has some good ideas to fight Corporatism.
The truth is, every NASDAQ corporation, every Big Tech company, every major Hollywood celebrity on social media, nearly all MSM, the majority of colleges, etc all have a Social Corporatist , Neoliberal, Neocon, Imperialist, Ultra Center Left and Hard Left Centrist bias (not that there is anything wrong with that, I’m just saying).
Corporations, Big Tech, Hollywood, MSM etc in particular always have the same exact position and responses/virtue signaling to every issue and news story whether it is the BLM and BLM ‘protests’ (they were indifferent to BLM or anti BLM, including Barack Obama for the latter, then they went too far the other way on BLM and then some),,
Freedom convoy, the January 6 protests, free speech (being anti free speech) , Tea Party, Occupy movement, Russia-Ukraine, Russia collusion , parents at school board meetings
Bernie Sanders and us Bernie supporters (as in they are anti Bernie Sanders and against us Bernie Sanders supporters), Donald Trump (by shoving Donald Trump down our throat for almost a decade)
Economic (being pro Capitalist, Pro rich and pro social class hierarchy while supporting Social fascism in other areas) , Communism (as in them being Anti Communist),
Guns ,overkill wokeness, Transgender (as in them being hostile and sneakingly transphobic), Abortion (i.e their negative reaction to Roe v Wade being overturned), Queer things (i.e ‘Don’t say gay’ law etc)
wars (as in them being warmongers), Iraq (being pro Iraq and then going too far the other way),Israel (as in being too Zionist and being Anti Palestinian)
Big Tech (in favor of Big Tech not being broken up), Elon Musk (being against Elon Musk buying Twitter) , Citizens United (in that they support or downplay citizens united), FBI (ignoring FBI abuses and spying) , voter ids
“Historically this role was fulfilled by religious institutions hence the usage of the term "cathedral", this is intentionally contrasted with the institutions that fulfill the role of the cathedral in the modern age that being Schools, Universities, the Media and the Entertainment industry who largely market themselves as "Secular". It is worth to note that the Cathedral (in it's modern incarnation) is not a formal institution that people just belong to but rather an informal network of leaders of the before-aforementioned institutions that happen to agree on most important matters (Harvard, The New York Times, Disney and The Guardian rarely disagree for example)”
It is almost like they are in sync with each other (which is cool they are insync with each other if they are because cohesion is a biblical value). The odds they are on the correct side of all of those issues is slim at best and slim left town. It is state controlled Social Corporatist , Neoliberal, Neocon, Imperialist, Ultra Center Left and Hard Left Centrist media and groupthink (see below)
Though the fact a few corporations own so many corporations and so on makes that somewhat understandable, look at how many corporations and entities CBSViacom, Disney, Time Warner, NBCUniversal own for example).
It's like a real life Stepford Wives (I love that movie).
Some of them are heavily influenced by lobby and advocacy groups who organize and coordinate attacks on those corporations through SJWism and other tactics until those corporations give in. Just look at how they one by one they become toxically woke in 2020, how all of these corporations punished innocent Russians for a war they had nothing to do with, look at how all of these corporations fire people who are conservative ,Blue Dog Democrat or Left Wing Progressive , how these corporations use diversity to cover for their corrupt labor practices and attack everything that us reasonable private citizens stand for in their tone deaf, DISHONEST virtue signaling fests.
We have to counter this if we don’t want to comment after the fact. We need to civilly fight against those neat SJWs who influence corporations to be like they are above, they are the opposition, and a worthy opposition.
The SPLC is a Radical Liberal (bless their hearts) organization and has a selfish bias. They are decent on hate group coverage but outside of that, they are clearly not my cup of tea
They are almost scam and should be taken with a grain of salt after the acts they pulled over the years
Them listing pro life groups and Traditionalist Catholic groups as hate groups is proof they are nothing but an anti conservative smear campaign designed to destroy Republicans and the Conservaitve movement with lies,(they should know better) dis honest reporting and nonsense.
The SPLC wrote a relatively fair article about the Proud Boys in 2017 titled 'Do you want bigots Gavin?' article. I actually was surprised how decent and relatively fair that article was.
At least up to the mid to late 2010s, the SPLC was still a functional ,unreliable clock/Dr Jekyl organization, but that SPLC is no longer active, at lesst not since they wrongly fired Morris Dees.
The SPLC are now are a defamation, smearing hit squad designed to smear anything and all things Far left, real Left Wing, Republican or even slightly Conservative. Shame on those moonbats
Wikipedia has a obvious Neo/liberal, Neocon and woke bias and transphobic bias (Molly White, David Gerard and Neotarf are transphobic fascists). There are liberal cabals of powerful users who slant hundreds of political articles to whichever way they are feeling politically . Even Wikipediocracy and Jimbo Wales admits this
They mostly use sources from Neo/liberal, non Right Wing and non far left sources (they actually vote on which sources to blacklist). Many of those cabal members are admins or are users protected by admins. I should know, I was a New Page reviewer, AFC reviewer, rollbacker etc for a year
Classical Liberalism, Progressive Conservatism and Independent politics is grounded in the creator’s natural laws and the laws of nature. Only within this framework can we accept the responsibilities and rights of citizens within a polity. This includes the establishment and defense of a government which protects the freedoms and rights of people to think and speak for themselves
If I had to choose at gun point between labeling those 'Trump extremists' as domestic terrorists/terrorists or labeling them over zealous, SJW provocateurs who are Republicans in training and or whose extremism was fueled by ignorance and terrible communication, I'd go with the latter label as that label is less inaccurate than the former.
Instead of comparing the 'Trump exremists' to Al Qaeda, ISIS and similar groups they should be compared instead to the fringe members of ANTIFA who even the left condemns, BDS, Code Pink, Bernie Bros and the Red Army Faction's most pacified members (at best) or Family, Weather Underground, Red Commando , IRA, Hamas, and MS 13 (at worst)
Joe Biden and his administration are seriously trying to provoke Trump supporters. You don’t label 88,000,000 Americans as a ‘threat to our democracy’. That crosses the line, deepens our already huge political divide and can provoke Trump supporters. Joe Biden said he wanted to ‘heal and unite’ America but trashing Trump supporters as he has done he is doing the exact opposite. Yes, of course, Republicanism absolutely IS a threat to the tyranny of centralized democracy. By Design. See other paragraphs of this blog section for what I think of delegitimizing the oppositions
Some Democrats, Liberals and Progressives claim to want to give a hearing to other views, but then are shocked and offended to discover that there are other views.
Some Republicans and Conservatives claim to be more open than Democrats, Liberals and Progressives but they refuse to even listen to Democrats, Liberals and Progressive views or ideas (like Socialism, Medicare for All etc) out of small mindedness, bitterness and ignorance
I do admit that the true fringe of the political spectrums (ie the actual and open bigots on both fringes) are extremely condemnable, close minded, ignorant, shallow and mentally impaired.
They are wrong to be shallow and to judge books by their cover. Identity have nothing to do with how someone is. Judge people by actions and their character not identity. This is sound advice and logical. The people with their screws loose on both fringes need double help: to stop being trolls and to stop being overt and over the top.
Palecon Pat Buchanan used to meet with some of the extremists on the fringe of the Republican party in the 1980s 1990s and address their concerns in ways that matched the Republican party's values and wasn't extreme. He believed in a big tent that didn't compromise what the Republican Party was founded on while still those extremists as humans and not as lepers.
That could be done today for extremists in both parties but ONLY for extremists who the vast majority of reddit.com/r/politics redditers would say are redeemable
Extremists must change and not be extremists anymore and focus on real, practical and important issues. If they don't change, they should not be allowed to be with our political parties (if they aren't already) or if they are already with whatever political party we belong to, they should be banished from the party or isolated forcing them to not be bigots and change.
Generally the dark parts of both political parties seems evil. A minority of Social Corporatists , Neoliberals, Neocons, Imperialists, Ultra Center Leftists and Hard Left Centrists are in ‘evil’ territory and they are in it to divide us all,by every characteristic people are a part of.Race-ethnicity,gender,religion,political persuasion, etc.
And this is a goal for only one reason-to weaken us as a Nation. It's up to the people to put a stop to this.
Because as it becomes more and more clearer by the day. and as much as I hate saying this, this IS a war, and this is a war that is being waged on the spiritual level, affecting all other levels. People who deny this truth in the :Spirit, are not equipped to help fight in this battle.
That is,to help themselves or the joint well being of We the People. More of us need to be awake and aware of what is happening in our country as opposed to being merely PO'd at "the other side",which is what we are being manipulated to do .This attack has been on for decades, and though
It is becoming easier and easier to dismiss those terms. Since every so often, it's regurgitated nonsense.. This is a major disservice to those who are genuinely suffering from the consequences of racism.
Maybe they should even embrace those labels, since they, their families, friends and God knows they aren't that way and the words 'racist' and 'white supremist' now generally mean anti overkill identity politics, anti woke, against grievance politics, anti racial guilt, believing that ALL LIVES ARE EQUAL, against literal open borders and against mass illegal immigration, and similar things
Sticks and stones kind of thing. A lot of Conservatives and Christians today are wrongly afraid of being called a silly meaningless names (Christian fascist, homophobe, non Zionist or even Anti Zionist, reactionary etc) by the world that they refuse to share the the word or try to express their Judeochristian views .
But still, that hesitancy has to let up. If someone isn't those things, they have nothing to fear. God knows what people are ,who cares about what some hardened pagan or backslidden sinners believe. Jesus was similarly smeared with similar bad words by the Pharisees also and he was literally perfect.
Democrats, Liberals and Progressives should similarly not be afraid to be hit by Right Wing ‘smears’ like CCPer or Commie if clear non CCP members and non Commies like Adam Kinzinger , Gregg Abbott, Cori Booker and Joe Biden are hit by that ‘smear’ word since that would mean the word CCP and Commie has lost its meaning or is watered down.
If Democrats, Liberals and Progressives aren't that and are hit with that label they should embrace being a 'CCPer', or ‘Commie’ since they, their families, friends and God knows they aren't that way and the word 'CCPer' or ‘Commie’ now means being diplomatic with a rising superpower like China and not using high tariffs on them, trying to help struggling Americans through more fair economic policies, trying to get aid to fight a deadly outbreak etc .
Being prejudice is very ridiculous. But some well intentioned people make non violent and non terroristic prejudice people and anti semites out to be as bad as murderers, pedophiles, lepers or rapists/sexual abusers and that type of exaggeration is pushing it a bit.
Being prejudice is stupid, shallow, picky, petty, dehumanizing, pointless, a waste of energy and extremely ignorant. It also is unfair in that it hates people for reasons they can't control. Judging a book by its cover is horrible.
If I was born and raised on another planet in another solar system, galaxy or universe, on that extraterrestrial planet in that other solar system, galaxy or universe, I would say “(extraterrestrial) people (on that other planet in another solar system, galaxy or universe), have a right to personally discriminate--that is make their own decisions, based upon their own rights--is the very essence of liberty.
(Extraterrestrial) Government (on that other planet in another solar system, galaxy or universe) denial of that right is the very essence of tyranny. Individual moral views notwithstanding, freedom to discriminate (for those extraterrestrial people on other planet in another solar system, galaxy or universe) is a right and privilege no matter how flawed and evil it is. Sadly (extraterrestrial) people (on that other planet in another solar system, galaxy or universe) tend to want to be around other people who are like them”
Humans from Earth feel more comfortable around other humans from Earth (of all races and ethnicities equally) than they would around non human adjacent extraterrestrials/human adjacent extraterrestrials (who are of a race or ethnicity that is not found on Earth) on other planets in other solar systems, galaxies or universes. It is ok to be prejudice against extraterrestrials on other planets .
We should love everyone of all races and ethnicities on Earth as much as God loves us equally , but that equal love does not have to extend to non human adjacent extraterrestrials/human adjacent extraterrestrials (who are of a race or ethnicity that is not found on Earth) on other planets in other planets in other solar systems, galaxies or universes. Everything has a limit, we are humans after all.
When it comes to non human adjacent extraterrestrials/human adjacent extraterrestrials (who are of a race or ethnicity that is not found on Earth) on other planets in other planets in other solar systems, galaxies or universes, it is perfectly reasonable that that equal love would run out.
It is unnatural/unhuman, overkill and creepy to love more than a select few (if any) non human adjacent extraterrestrials/human adjacent extraterrestrials (who are of a race or ethnicity that is not found on Earth) on other planets in other planets in other solar systems, galaxies or universes as much as God loves us, equally as much as we love every race and ethnicity on Earth
It is ok to admit that all of us humans on Earth of all races and ethnicities are equally better than nearly all or all non human adjacent extraterrestrials/human adjacent extraterrestrials (who are of a race or ethnicity that is not found on Earth) on other planets in other planets in other solar systems, galaxies or universes
We need to stop the State Liberal/Neoliberal and Neocon takeover of the Republican Party and the Imperialist, Successor Ideology ,Anti Left Wing , Neoliberal 2.0 takeover of the Democrat Party and eject them both from both parties or demote them before they continue to ruin the Republican party and Democrat party.
We need the Republican party to embodying American-family values (but embrace new values in the exact way I do), patriotism and similar values
We need the Democrat Party to move way Left on the economy and become egalitarian, while being non interventionist, anti imperialist, less offensively woke, less overkill id pol, more pro freedom of speech, anti patriot act etc
People can associate with ANTIFA, Oath Keepers, etc without becoming part of their groups
To shun those groups would be to look at them as lepers who have no value when many have somewhat legit gripes that got twisted and warped by people who don’t see their gripes that way. Joe Biden said he worked with the other side (ie segregationists) decades ago, so others on both sides associating with the dredges of both parties at times is no different than that.
You don't have to agree with even most views of people you associate with. Look at Ellen and GWB, or James Carville and Mary Matlin. Politics isn't the only thing in the world. Maybe I can be a good influence on the fringes of both sides so they become more moderate. Guilt by association is a logical fallacy. Jesus of Christian tradition sat with sinners to convert them, that didn't make him a sinner. You don't have to agree with people to debate them or to be close to them. Political views aren't contagious
Don't let the ADL fool you: Among the ADL’s four categories of violence—Islamist, left-wing, right-wing, and white supremacist extremism—researchers found that the first two were more or less accurate; 85 of the 88 Islamist incidents checked out as properly labeled, as did 24 of the 26 leftist ones. Where the ADL was inflating things was almost entirely in the “white, right-wing” areas.
As the researchers noted, among the 300 incidents of right-wing extremism during this period, when reviewed, only 131 were found to truly fit the bill. White supremacist extremism was even more inflated: just 57 incidents of the 199 claimed by the ADL credibly had such a motivation.
That the ADL’s “hate inflation” fell only on whites and right-wingers; that the spirit of scrutiny apparently grips the SPLC when reviewing some racial agendas but not others; and that people like Neiwert pass over basic facts to pursue anti-white narratives can be summed up in one word: bigotry. It should be called out as such by conservatives and independents whenever they see it.
Progressive NGOs to dehumanize and delegitimize Republicans and Conservatives by smearing them as 'racist', 'white supremist', 'anti semite', which is bound to lump innocent Republicans and Conservatives with the deplorable Republicans and Conservatives . Labels can ruin lives if they are used to liberally. Progressive NGOs should ideally generally attack the Right Winger’s actions not the person
The ADL went on a fishing trip to find 'anti semetism from Torba to further delegitimize Gab. Torba did a few stupid things without thinking (he used the Judeo Bolshevik conspiracy slur, bend the knee nonsense) , we all have, but I don't believe his intents were bigoted or at least that bigoted.
Similarly the SPLC tried to smear the Proud Boys by cherry picking, and using one members' life to 'prove' that the Proud Boys were a 'gateway drug' to the alt right. The Proud Boys are looneys and trolls, but back then and based on the methods (ie fishing expeditions which on Wikipedia, checkusers are not allowed to do to catch sockpuppets) they used, the SPLC was offbase if not wrong. The SPLC uses filler in their hit pieces and brutally manipulate an associations to prove the logical fallacies of 'guilt by association'
We now have experts, academics, corporations, celebrities, psychologists, scientists who have dominion and power over us and our views because of their degrees, or credentials. They use that power and influence to control our politicians at the behest of lobby groups, NGOs, rich activists etc. These silent ruling elite-aristocrats are the reason our country has moved so far authoritarian ‘left’ and neocon right.
They think because they have a degree or credentials, what they say is right and what they say should be the law of the land. We need to curb Scientism, Corporatism, Academiaism, Experism etc. They are not infallible and we shouldn't allow them to do take over society. They are being used by some groups to advance their sinister ways and they all must be stopped
Extreme Right Wingers get too much coverage in the media giving their extreme right wing views legitimacy. Ignore the extreme right wingers, don’t feed them trolls
A lot of Twitter users (like the ones who tried to cancel Chris Pratt or who attacked Scott Baio about his date with his wife) are terrible people and a disgrace to our country, world and society. They are pious, mean, bullying and cultist.
I've always been bothered with how radical Liberals and SJW progressives gang up on far left, left wing factions and Right Wingers, people they don't agree with or companies and other entities they don't agree with on social media whenever those people say something offensive or does something that triggers those radical liberals and SJW progressives. I feel that radical liberals and SJW progressives actually bully some of those people and this is not something we should be doing as it is beneath us and lowers us to their level.
I know Right Wingers are have some views that can trigger people, they are trollish at times and have a hard time communicating their thoughts. But when the fringe Right Wingers go low, Democrats, Liberals and Progressives should go high, Michelle Obama has the right idea.
Social media brings out the worst in people, and creates echo chambers and hive minds and that needs to stop.
It's funny, liberals and progressives always claim to stick up for the 'marginalized' and 'oppressed' while claiming to be against bullying ,yet they engage in the same tactics ,especially on social media over people and views they find offensive or don't agree with. Trust me, it's toxic and is bad.
I generally cautiously support Elon Musk’s free speech Twitter plans (I support free speech , my idea of free speech is very much much less strict than techcrunch's views of free speech) .
If liberty means anything at all it means the right to say things others don’t want to hear
While I believe in free speech, speech that would clearly cause hate crimes (where even mainstream conservatives would say so), should not be protected as free speech. Liberals use to believe in free speech but now they have gone mad and are against it.
I don't like the pushback that Elon Musk has gotten. I feel Democrats, Liberals and moderate Republicans are hurting themselves attacking Musk. Musk is an intelligent, genuinely decent person.
Why does Jeff Bezos get a pass? Musk has his heart in the right place.
If Democrats, Liberals and Progressives are ‘correct’ on issues, why do they censor, deplatform, shame, smear, cancel, silence etc people who question or opposed their narrative on hot button issues? That behavior by the Democrats, Liberals and Progressives makes them look guilty (like they are wrong) since if they were correct, they wouldn’t care if people on the other side questioned or opposed their views on hot button issues
Politicians should not make decisions based on emotions but based on rational thinking. Being compassionate is good but there needs to be a balance with decision making
More and more Neoliberal 2.0 (Radical Democrat , Hard-Authoritarian Progressive, Social Fascist) brains have been associated with an ever growing higher risk of having many types of burnout. Their brains (ie amygdala) are wired in such a way that they are more risk taking and childlike blind optimism (which leads to recklessness) toward new things than non Neoliberal 2.0 brains (especially Conservative, and Republican brains) who are wired to be more anxious and fearful of new things.
What this means is that this brain wiring causes those Neoliberal 2.0s to be more 'open' to or embracing things like mass illegal migration, Social fascism, BDS , defunding the police, no voter id laws and similar things that non Neoliberal 2.0s wouldn't be open to or embrace. This 'openness' to embrace such risky political views without fear of consequences is consistent with burnout because such behavior by liberals, while noble, burns them out quick (ie see John Edwards after his 2004 run for President for example).
Newspeak by bias MSM media: calling the 2020 BLM riots which were not peaceful at all ‘peaceful’ while falsely calling January 6 2021 an ‘insurrection’ or ‘coup’, calling any Right wing view they don’t agree with ‘Misinformation’ or ‘Disinformation’, using the words ‘solidarity’, or ‘stand with (fill in blank)’ to goad people into supporting their liberal or progressive agendas etc
